MAMMOTH LAKES HOUSING, INC. Special Board of Directors Meeting Monday, November 9, 2009 6:00 p.m. Mammoth Lakes Housing Conference Room 587 Old Mammoth Rd. Minutes I. Call to Order II. Roll Call Members: Bill Taylor, Byng Hunt, Jim Smith for Rusty Gregory, Kirk Stapp, Neil McCarroll, Rob Clark, and Sandra Facincani Staff: Pam Hennarty III. Public Comments No public comment. IV. Inclusionary Housing Subcommittee Report and Recommendation Continuation of discussion regarding implementation details of the subcommittee’s recommendation of in-lieu fees and implementation programs. Recommendation includes an in-lieu fee to be set at $23,222 per market rate unit plus consideration for greater housing benefit. Additionally the Board adopted and recommended to Mammoth Lakes Town Council the Housing Mitigation Livability Guidelines which outlines unit requirements for inclusionary housing units. Board recommended 7-0 these policies be adopted by the Mammoth Lakes Town Council as Interim Policy. The Board directed staff to work with Town of Mammoth Lakes staff to further study and review housing policies for consideration of a final policy, V. Adjourn Back to the Agenda Page
